The Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department offers a large banquet hall for all your special events. All proceeds from your rental help to support the operations of the firefighters and emergency medical personnel that serve the Burke community, but you don’t have to be from Burke to rent here!
The hall accommodates up to 250 persons, includes kitchen facilities, and is ADA compliant. Please consider us for events such as:
- Wedding receptions
- Birthday parties
- Baptism celebrations
- Bar/Bat Mitzvahs
- Baby showers
- Cultural events
- Lectures and large meetings
- Scouting events such as “Blue and Gold” dinners
- And many more!
The BVFRD Banquet Hall is available to rent for $200/hour. There is a six-hour minimum rental requirement for weekends (Friday-Sunday), and a four-hour minimum rental requirement for weekdays (Monday-Thursday.)
*The hall is not available on Wednesday nights due to our weekly Bingo session.
The hall is approximately 3750 sq. ft. and includes a built-in stage at one end. High ceilings and huge windows at both ends create a light and open feel to the space. The facility is designed as a single story, ground-level facility with easy access. A large parking lot is available, and other parking for overflow, if needed, is nearby.
We offer both round and rectangular tables to support different event configurations, and will set them up according to your instructions. Setup and takedown of tables and chairs is included in the rental fee.
The kitchen is configured as a “warming” kitchen, and is able to support the operations of a caterer if you have one for your event. The kitchen includes a warming oven, large double refrigerator, ice machine, and lots of counter and sink space. Use of the gas oven/stove requires an additional fee, and proof of liability insurance from a licensed caterer.
Adequate power and outlets are available for DJ’s or live bands. We do have a sound level limit of 90db, which will be enforced during the event as necessary.
Large projection screen available (must bring your own projector). Microphone available by request. Built-in A/V system includes a CD-changer, DVD player, speakers, and four corner televisions with video input.
BVFRD personnel will be on hand in the hall manager’s office during your event to answer questions, respond to emergencies, restock supplies, and handle opening and closing of the hall.
