Our Second Annual Fire Drill 5K/1M will be on Saturday, May 6 at Burke Lake Park – Pavilion A starting at 8 a.m.
Online registration closes at 8 pm. on Thursday, May 4. Click here to register!
If you miss the online registration deadline, do not worry – feel free to stop by the Potomac River Running Store in Burke Center during our Packet Pick Up. Or can may also register the day of the race at Burke Lake Park.
Registration Fees:
5K: $40 through May 4; $45 during packet pick up and on Race day
1M Fun Run: $30 through May 4; $35 during packet pick up and on Race day
Packet Pick up will be at the =PR= Burke Store on Friday, May 5 from 12 – 8 p.m. and on race day at Burke Lake Park starting at 7 a.m.
All Race Participants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher medal. Be sure to register by Friday, April 11 to be guaranteed a shirt and medal. After that shirts and medals will be first come first served as availability allows.
Awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and female finishers as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups; 16 & Under, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & over.
Additionally, everyone’s favorite fire dog, Sparky, will be joining us along with his BVFRD fire engine. Whether you want to try to outrun the 6-foot Sparky and “personal record” your 5K, or just want to walk/run and enjoy the park in the 1-mile fun run, there is something for everyone!
