Our Annual Fire Drill 5K/1M will be on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Burke Lake Park – Pavilion A starting at 8 a.m.

Registration Fees:
5K:
- Early Bird Registration: $30 through January 12, 2026 at 11:59pm ET
- Regular: $40 from January 13 – April 24
- Same Day Registration: $45
1M Fun Run:
- Early Bird Registration: $20 through January 12, 2026 at 11:59pm ET
- Regular: $30 from January 13 – April 24
- Same Day Registration: $35
Packet Pick up will be at the =PR= Burke Store on Friday, April 24 from 12 – 8 p.m. and on race day at Burke Lake Park starting at 7 a.m.
All Race Participants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher medal. Be sure to register by Thursday, April 9 to be guaranteed a shirt and medal. After that shirts and medals will be first come first served as availability allows.
Awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and female finishers as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups; 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.
Additionally, everyone’s favorite fire dog, Sparky, will be joining us along with his BVFRD fire engine. Whether you want to try to outrun the 6-foot Sparky and “personal record” your 5K, or just want to walk/run and enjoy the park in the 1-mile fun run, there is something for everyone!
