As we approach Giving Tuesday – the annual celebration of generosity – on Tuesday, November 28, please consider making a donation to the Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department (BVFRD).
Why Give to BVFRD?
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on community contributions to support our daily operations.
Did you know…
That BVFRD is the owner and operator of our station? As such we are responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the station and surrounding grounds.
That BVFRD is responsible for securing loans and fulfilling all payment obligations on a majority of the response apparatus (anything slime lime yellow) as well as any necessary contracts related to the overall maintenance of the station and grounds?
How Can You Make a Difference?
Your generous donation can make a significant impact on our capabilities and resources. Your contribution will go directly towards apparatus purchases, the maintenance of our station, the recruitment and training of volunteers – and more.
