The Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department is comprised of both career staff and volunteers. Our volunteers are firefighters, aides, drivers, EMTs and administrative personnel, who give hundreds (in some cases, thousands) of hours each year for the benefit of Burke, Fairfax and Springfield residents.
